Gertie Gale’s Allotment Association now has a forum website and a Facebook page where Tenants can share their experience, expertise and general support for the allotments and ask any questions regarding the allotment site or the growing and care of crops.
The forum and the Facebook page are there for all the Tenants, and only the Tenants, of Gertie Gale’s Allotment Association, so the more Tenants that sign up to it, the more we can all get out of it. |
The forum and the Facebook page are for Tenants to help each other and to create a community feel, so please refrain from any negative or controversial comments.
The Committee is open to all constructive feedback, so please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any ideas or suggestions.
If you are a Tenant of Gertie Gale’s Allotment Association and would like to sign up to the forum or Facebook page, please email the association’s Media Officer for instructions and guides.

On-going Site Maintenance - By All Plot Holders
Tenants are reminded that all paths and tracks including perimeter grass areas must be kept clear of obstructions (including stones and overhanging bushes or trees from plots) and shall not be encroached upon.
Weed killer or herbicide is not allowed anywhere on the allotment site.
Pesticides are allowed to be used and Tenants must not cause spray-drift onto other plots.
It is the Tenant's responsibility to cut the grass around their plot.
This is part of the Tenancy Agreement and will reduce costs.
The onus is on each individual to keep tidy the areas around their plot.
Please do not dump weeds, rocks etc. on the pathways nor in the hedgerows.
